This week’s menu features a lot of fresh produce and some simple meals! I hit both Costco and Ingles and managed to only go $5 over budget. And yeah, we ditched Paleo and have not looked back! 🙂
On The Menu

Lunch:
- Leftovers
- Sandwiches
- Turkey Sausage
Supper:
- BBQ Ribs in the slow cooker/Mac & Cheese/Green Beans
- Gnocchi with Alfredo Sauce/Tossed Salad
- BTT’s (Bacon-Turkey-Tomato Sandwiches)/Corn on the Cob
- Quick & Spicy Nachos
- Spaghetti/Tossed Salad
- Leftovers
- Date Night
I think five dollars over the budge is not bad at all!! Once Marvin retires I will have to be much more strict with my food budget. I am counting on you to keep me in line with your grocery posts!!

Start following those grocery sales cycles now! You can get a good start on your stocked pantry, so it won’t hurt as much when your budget shrinks. 🙂

You’re menu looks great! I’ve been wanting to try ribs in the slow cooker – sounds better than heating up the oven. Have a wonderful day!

We had the ribs last night and they were awesome! I cooked them for 5 hours on low and then added a little more BBQ sauce before popping them under the broiler for a few minutes. It made them almost as good as grilled ribs!
