Although I share my weekly menus with you every Monday, I thought it might be fun to show you what a few of our meals look like when they are plated. Here’s a quick look at four of our supper meals with some special guest appearances!
- Saturday: Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup (leftovers)
- Sunday: Olive Garden Chicken Gnocchi Soup/Parmesan Toast/Broccoli
- Monday: BBQ Chicken Legs/Buttered Parsley Potatoes/Green Beans
- Tuesday: Rigatoni with Chicken & Sun-dried Tomato Cream Sauce/Parmesan Knots/Lemon Garlic Broccoli
I hope you enjoyed this peek into our supper routine!
Yay for getting those reservations! I’m going to need a full recap!!!!

Yum…except for drumsticks. I just cannot eat the dark meat chicken! In fact my whole family likes the white meat so I never buy a whole chicken, opting for chicken breasts instead. Lately there have been some good sales so I have stocked up!!

My dad is the same way about dark meat. My mom always cooked whole cut-up fryers and let us pick the pieces we wanted. I have always been happy with the wings and legs! 🙂

Do you have the recipe for the BBQ chicken legs on your site? Would this work with chicken breasts? P.S. I really enjoy your site!

Hi Lorraine! I don’t have the recipe in a post anywhere – it’s one I adjust based on what kind of chicken I’m using. If you’re cooking boneless breasts it will take much less time, depending on the size of the meat. For chicken legs or thighs, I cook them at 375 for 45 minutes to 1 hr – depending on the size. 🙂
