Christmas Recap {2015}

Today I’m sharing my favorite pictures and moments from our Christmas celebration! Somehow Paul and I failed to get a picture of just the two of us…but I got plenty of pictures of the cats. What does that say about me?

I am not one of those people who can’t wait to take down their Christmas decorations and get the house back to normal. I love the cozy glow of my Christmas tree (which comes as no surprise if you follow me on Instagram!) and try to hang on to the festive feelings as long as possible. So if you want, you can scroll through these pictures like I did and pretend it’s still Christmas. 🙂

  1. I enjoyed your video:) I don’t always get to watch them, but I like to when I get the time to sit down with my computer. I thought your outfit for Christmas Eve was cute! Paul cracked me up with his outfit description. I tend not to hit up the after-Christmas sales in-store, but I may run out to see what’s left this weekend. I hate when stores don’t clearance things out, especially when you’re waiting on something to go on major sale. And your dad was funny. Oh, and I totally spotted my Christmas card!!!

    I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!!!

  3. I am a day late here…We took off to Huntsville yesterday and I am just catching up on my viewing/reading. Ok, I wanted to see your big gift! Did I miss it when you showed your Christmas Kitchen with all your snacks etc? I got books and dvds and I am waiting on a Bible that Marvin ordered for me but it takes a while to get here. Loved your holiday vlogs…you look so pretty and are so well spoken! Great job.

    1. You didn’t miss it – my mom gave me a set of BEAUTIFUL blue and white dishes…I can’t decide whether to use them for eating or display. Either way, I’ll share it on the blog or Instagram soon. Thank you, I enjoyed sharing the holiday vlogs with everyone!

  5. Looks like a great Christmas! Love all of the smiles and twinkly lights. We are leaving our decorations up for a bit, too. Our real tree still looks and smells great so I hate to throw it out just yet.

  6. Oh, your dad, lol! 🙂 Looks you had like a great Christmas!
    My favorite things were going to the Christmas lights in Charleston & our tradition of watching Charlie Brown Christmas while we have breakfast for dinner, which our best friends have joined in on the last few years. It was also fun letting the boys make cookies to take to the fire/police station on Christmas Day.
    Family holidays are really stressful for me, so these times are even more special, since they’re just our little family celebrating without all the stress.

    1. I love that you took cookies to the fire and police station! I’m sure the people on duty loved it too. 🙂 There’s something so nice and perfect about celebrating with just the people in your house. I love that too!

  7. Whitney, so glad you had a great Christmas. Thank you for sharing 🙂 My favorite part was, and still is, having my kids home from college. God bless your New Year.
