It’s amazing how a small change can really breathe life into your home decor. Let me show you what I’ve updated around my house lately!
Christy asked if I would review something from her Etsy shop, Christy’s Small Art Cafe. I was happy to oblige, and she sent me this lovely little original piece that looks perfect in my living room!
If you’re looking for a lovely and thoughtful gift for Mother’s Day, head over and browse her shop! Christy has a varied collection of wood signs, mixed media and original canvas pieces like the one she sent me.
Right now Christy is offering 15% off everything in her shop – use the code HAPPY at checkout!
It’s amazing how a small little change in a room can make such a huge difference. I put my new canvas where I’ve displayed the same picture frame for years – and it changed the whole corner of the room! That made me look for other little areas that I could refresh with just a small change.
I found these sweet little pots at Dollar Tree and filled them with succulents and moss that I had on hand (from previous Dollar Tree shopping trips!). This one is on the piano in my living room. Green is such a great color to bring into your home for spring!
In the hall bath, I swapped out the grapevine wreath I’d had in there since we remodeled with a few more Dollar Tree finds! This is another succulent project on top of some guest napkins and a silver tray, all from Dollar Tree!
Here’s my challenge for you: find a little corner or spot in your home and give it a tiny update. You might be surprised at how much you enjoy the change!

So pretty! That art work looks like it was made for your living room
Doesn’t it? It’s so fun to have an original little piece like that in my home.
I love these colors!
Thank you!
Everything looks lovely Whitney but do not tell me of any more ETSY shops. I have to stay away from that site.:)
Ha! Sorry for being a source of temptation, Arlene! 🙂

The canvas artwork is so pretty! I also love how high end your succulents look in those pots (from Dollar Tree??!! Wow!). Lovely spring refreshment!
