Welcome to my fall decor tour! I decorated a little earlier than usual so that I can enjoy it a little longer than usual. This is a photo-heavy post, so get ready to scroll and I’ll catch up with you at the end.
To keep this post from being too long, I shared my kitchen and dining room last week – see that post here – or watch my full house tour below!
By the way, it’s okay if you don’t decorate this much for fall. I currently have the time and the energy to decorate at this level – and I have a large stash of items I’ve collected over the past decade. This year I only spent about $10 on a few new pieces from Dollar Tree and then resolved not to buy anything else until I put out the rest of my decor to evaluate what I “needed.”
Guess what? I didn’t “need” anything else! There are so many Instagram accounts, YouTube channels, commercials and ads that tell me “You need this! Swipe up! Click Here!” Give yourself permission not to swipe, click or feel compelled to buy more stuff just because everyone else is doing it.
Use what you have, enjoy your personal style and do what you can with your time and energy. In doing so you’ll create a cozy, thoughtful home that reflects your style. ❤

Everything is adorable like always Whitney, you have a beautiful home.
I especially love this……..”Use what you have, enjoy your personal style and do what you can with your time and energy. In doing so you’ll create a cozy, thoughtful home that reflects your style. ❤”

Gorgeous!! I always think of you when I see turquoise pumpkins. Your home looks lovely. I have also been pushing back to the idea that you must buy tons of new holiday decor every season. I love to add pieces that I love and am trying hard not to get sucked into the buy buy buy trap online. I have a few pumpkins out at my house, but have not been up to decorating for Fall just yet. I need you to come to my house and help 🙂

I wish I could come decorate with you! ☺️ I love that you associate turquoise pumpkins with me, that’s so cute. It is hard not to get sucked into all the “you need this” that is everywhere – good for you!

Very pretty Whitney…and just enough without fall overload. We are having some work done in our home so I am going light on the decorating as well. Love your bowl of Candy Corn. I have a hard time NOT eating it all myself. I am a candy corn lover, especially with MandMs and peanuts mixed in!!

Thanks Arlene! I love candy corn too – so I bought the cheap dollar tree stuff that isn’t very good. Ha!
