Who would have thought we would have enough fun memories to fill up 10 collage spots on our Christmas card? I’ll share our highlights of the year – most of which are pictured on the card – in a couple weeks.
This collage is just a bunch of different versions of our faces to most people. To me, it’s a reminder of the good times Paul and I have shared this year – a year where we spent more time together than probably any other year in our marriage!
The phrase from “Joy To The World ” that I chose for our Christmas card reminds me of these verses from my favorite chapter of the Bible:
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:1-5
Whatever suffering or heartache you and your family have faced in 2020, I pray that you will be overwhelmed by the wonder of God’s love for you and encouraged by the truth that he does indeed rule the world with truth and grace!
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love!
