We spent several days this week at Lake Keowee, a gorgeous spot just an hour from us. Even on Memorial Day when the lake was buzzing with activity, it’s a pretty quiet area perfect for relaxing.
One evening we drove into Clemson to visit the hot dog place we discovered earlier this year – it did not disappoint!
The VRBO we rented at Keowee Key has two gorgeous pools. The one right across the parking lot from our condo was basically empty the whole trip. What’s more luxurious than having a pool all to yourself?
“Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for him.” (Psalm 37:7) Timely encouragement for the stage of life we are in!
What better way to wrap up a vacation than with ice cream? We stopped at this super cute place on our way home and were so glad we did!
This was a trip we planned many months ago, but it came at the perfect time. We were so grateful for the chance to rest and relax in this beautiful setting.
