For our fourth anniversary celebration we combined several of our favorite things and planned a fabulous afternoon together! We got tickets to see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, before which we ate brunch at Soby’s, one of the best restaurants downtown. Even though we celebrated after Christmas, we were still able to enjoy the Christmas decorations as we walked from one place to the other. Having a December anniversary makes Christmas so romantic!

The brunch buffet was full of the finest Southern cuisine…and the dessert table was even better!
We loved Beauty and the Beast! Even though I wouldn’t rank the movie as one of my favorites, Disney’s stage version is amazing. We laughed AND cried. Can’t say the movie has ever made me cry! I loved the “Home” sequence where Belle learns that home is where her heart is – and that her heart is with the Beast!

What a sweet way to spend your anniversary!!! And that food looks absolutely delicious! I love brunch – I could do a Sunday brunch every day if it was available (and physically possible).
