It is time for me to share my favorite free printable planners with you! There are some incredible creative and talented people out there who have come up with the most beautiful calendars for 2016. It was difficult, but I scoured blogland and narrowed it down to my three favorite options. Here they are, just in time to start planning for the new year!
1. For the planner enthusiast:
The Handmade Home
I have shared The Handmade Home’s planners every year for the past three years! They are just the most beautiful pages, with so many options for every organizing and planning need in the world. This planner comes with weekly views, monthly views, menu plans, extra to-do lists, chore charts, lesson plans for home school, beautiful divider pages and much more.
2. For the minimalist:
Small Paper Things
This is my personal favorite of the three options – right now I’m using a combination of month at-a-glance and week at-a-glance planning which is exactly what this planner offers. I like the simplicity of the pages that leaves plenty of room to write and plan. This planner is in black and white, which is always a frugal option when printing at home!
3. For anyone who loves pretty calendars:
Botanical Paperworks
There are three patterns offered in this format, and I wouldn’t want to decide between the chalkboard and the inspiration calendar! Both are uniquely beautiful, while leaving plenty of space for your appointments and reminders. This calendar is only available in the monthly view but will look awesome wherever it is displayed!
What is your favorite style of planner? I still haven’t decided which one I want for 2016!
Thanks for putting this together! I love posts like this. Seriously. And Chauncey makes fun of me because I like paper lists and things, while he’s all tech.

Well you can just make fun of him for being all techy and nerdy. 🙂

I have had company so I am just now catching up on my blog reading. I am still using the 18 month calendar/planner I found for $3.99 at Ross and I keep reminding myself I do not need an Erin Condren planner even though one of my friends showed up at Sunday School with one that she was carrying with her Bible. No NO NO…just walk away from the computer Arlene!!

Haha! Yeah those Erin Condren ones are beautiful but OH so expensive!

These are great options! I love the second from Small Paper Things! I need both the month and week at a glance to stay organized!

Great finds! #2 would probably win my vote because of the simplicity. I always print out a calendar to use for blogging and then have my husband buy a leather bound planner for personal use for Christmas each year. I have loved finding free printable options and it really helps keep my blogging on track. Thanks for the free suggestions!

I have to keep two separate planners for blogging and personal planning, too. I need to step up my blog planning this year so I’m having fun looking for something different! 🙂

Very cool. Now I need to figure out why our printer is saying it’s out of ink even after replacing the cartridge….

Don’t you hate that?! My printer did the same thing when I installed the last cartridge. Smacking the top of the printer helped, I think. 😉

After months of looking, I could never find just what I was looking for in a homeschool lesson planner, so I made all my own pages in excel & put them in a binder. Then I started having them bound at OfficeMax (for about $3-4) & now I have exactly what I want and I can change it each year before I print it off to make it fit my needs.

Awesome! I was just talking to someone the other day about the great feeling that comes from assembling a custom binder and admiring your work. 🙂 I would like to see that lesson planner sometime!
