My Favorite Thing {Menu Monday}

Make a list of all the things you make for supper. It makes menu planning so much easier!

I love having company for Sunday dinner. Paul’s work schedule kept us from entertaining for the past eight months, but that’s over and we enjoyed having his brother at Sunday dinner yesterday. One of my favorite things in life is lingering at the kitchen table after the meal is finished, talking and enjoying each other’s company. Since yesterday was the Daytona 500, we also had the glorious sounds of NASCAR in the background while we ate dessert!

Here’s this week’s grocery haul and menu plan – I only shopped Aldi and had a surprisingly pleasant experience! 🙂

On The Menu

Breakfast:

  • Cereal
  • Toast & Peanut Butter
  • Eggs & Bacon

Lunch:

  • Leftovers
  • Egg Salad
  • Sandwiches with lunch meat

  1. Aldi has become my new favorite store! I know I’m late in the game, but now that I’m eating mainly plant-based, a good whole foods section is really important to me. And Aldi has met the challenge head on!!

  2. Your chicken noodle casserole sounds delicious! I’ve been craving chicken & dumplings for weeks so that would definitely hit the spot. Glad you were able to host a yummy dinner and I bet your brother in law appreciated the experience. Your glorious NASCAR comment made me smile because that’s how I feel about the start of football season. It’s so fun to have sports to watch with your family 🙂
