5 Things on Friday: Beauty Favorites {1.24.20}

I receive a commission if you make a purchase using links in this post โค

I have rounded up 5 of my tried and true beauty favorites – and they’re all under $12! Most of my makeup and hair products come from Target – and you’ll see why at the end of the post.

#1 Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo and Conditioner: The packaging makes it look like a super basic product, but it has given my fine, limp hair so much volume! Plus, I love that it’s only $4/bottle.

#2 L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Foundation: I started using this in the summer and just ordered my second bottle this week. I love the medium to full coverage and the finish it gives. On cold days or just days that my skin feels really dry, I put a pump of day cream or tinted moisturizer into my hand and mix it with a pump of the foundation before applying – it can look a little patchy on dry skin.

#3 Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: This little sponge is less than $5, but it makes a world of difference when applying liquid foundation or concealer. I work my foundation onto my face with my fingers and then blend it in with this sponge.

#4 NYX Professional Finishing Powder: I love this powder, especially with the foundation I mentioned. It is literally like a filter for your face (yes!) and doesn’t ever look cakey.

#5 Avon True Color Lipstick: These lipsticks are my absolute favorite and pretty much all I wear! During the fall and winter I’ve been loving Berry Berry Nice and Cherry Jubilee, but Blush Nude is my all time favorite that I can wear any time, with any color or makeup look. If you keep an eye on the site, these lipsticks will go on sale 2/$11.

The other thing that’s a huge current favorite of mine is Target’s drive up service! Have you tried it? When I’m close to running out of something – whether it’s makeup, paper towels or cat foodย  – I open my Target app and scan the barcode on the package. I put the item in my cart, and check out when I have several items in there (or when my hair dryer shoots sparks at me and I need a new one NOW). ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve found that the drive up service is SO much faster than picking up my order at customer service. Often the employee is walking to my car while I’m parking in the pick up area! It’s such a time saver, and it keeps me from getting distracted by the Dollar Spot. ๐Ÿ™‚ If you haven’t tried it, what are you waiting for? ๐Ÿ™‚

In case you missed these posts from this week:

Have a lovely weekend!
