Spring Decor {2022}

We’re just two days away from the first day of spring! I love winter (mild southern winter) and I’m always sad to see it go, but it’s hard to be mad about spring.

I pulled out my ceramic bunny, mossy stones from Dollar Tree, and my decoupaged eggs to sprinkle around the living room.

Bright books on the coffee table and some fresh flowers bring in all the spring feels.

I’ve learned that restraint is the key to avoiding tacky seasonal decor. Eggs and bunnies are only displayed on my bookshelf and my tea cart. Everything else is normal decor in lighter colors and textures.

I dusted on a dreary Monday and took these pictures on a sunny Friday. I didn’t realize how dusty everything looks in the photos until I sat down to put this post together. Ha!

As I was running around the house trying to take advantage of the first sunlight I’d seen in days, I found my husband like this. He said he figured the only way I’d take his picture would be to lay in the sun. Ha!

  1. Everything looks lovely! Your plant on top of your tall bookshelf looks great and so do all the bunnies and bits of spring all over your house. I haven’t decorated for Spring yet. We’ve got little boy birthday parties on the brain first and then I think the Easter bunnies will make a debut 🙂
