Recent Amazon Purchases: $20 and under!

Amazon can be a really great place to find gifts, household supplies, home decor and even beauty items.

I went through my purchases over the last couple of months and pulled some favorites to share with you. Everything is under $20 and most are in the $10-15 range.

Aunt Life

Magnetic Blocks – These are perfect to keep at my house for days that my nephews visit. They’re small and easy to store, but keep them entertained for a long time.

Tales That Tell The Truth book series – I always use Amazon to send birthday gifts to our nephews/niece in New York. It’s great when gift wrap is an option, too! These books are the perfect gifts for preschool-early elementary ages. I love that they tell Bible stories framed with God as the hero and focus.

A Girl After God’s Own Heart Tween Devotional Book – Another birthday gift that I shipped to my niece in New York. This is the tween edition of the book that my mom has been featuring in her series on Biblical Womanhood.

Cat Lady Life

Soft Sided Cat Carrier: This one has a zippered pocket on the end, which is perfect if you’re not able to go into the vet’s office with your pet. I write out everything that needs to be checked and stick it in the pocket.

Tidy Cats Litter Pellets (used with the Litter Breeze System): I’ve been using this litter system for years and I love it. The pellets make daily and monthly cleaning so much easier than the clumping litter! I have this on subscribe and save so that it shows up at my door without fail.

Miscellaneous

Leather Apple Watch Band: Paul ordered this for his Apple watch and has been so happy with the quality!

8×10 Collage Picture Frame: I looked everywhere for a frame like this and finally found what I needed right here. I used this in my bathroom makeover.

Maybelline Lipstick in Warm Me Up: I love this lipstick! I used to wear this all the time and somehow forgot about it. I’ve been searching for the perfect rose shade that’s not too bright, not too light. It’s perfect for everyday wear and stays on without drying my lips. And you can’t beat the price, under $6!

With prices on the rise, you might be looking for more affordable beauty products. I’ve updated my Amazon favorites with more than 20 of the skin care, makeup and hair products I’m currently using. When I’m ready to repurchase any of those items, I always compare the price between Amazon, Target and Ulta to see who has the best deal (and who has it in stock!).

Have you found any good deals on Amazon lately? Let me know in the comments!

  1. My kids really enjoy Picasso Tiles. They’re a fun magnetic toy for kids of all ages and come in pkgs at lots of different price points. I think they’d work with your magnet toys if you ever wanted to expand your collection.

    1. Oh that’s a good point! The boys have those Picasso tiles at home, so I thought this would be something a little different for them to play with at my house – but mixing and matching would be fun too. Thanks for the idea!

  2. Great list! I use the same cat litter! It’s pricey but since I always said I would never have a litter box (because the mess and smell), it’s a splurge I allow myself because it works better than any other litter I’ve tried. I should start ordering it on Amazon. I need to check out that kitty carrier too! Have a nice weekend, Whitney!

    1. You’re right, it’s worth the splurge! 🙂 At times I’ve found the Tidy Cat litter a little cheaper on Chewy.com, but I like the safeguard of knowing I won’t run out of supplies since it comes regularly through my subscribe and save. Have a lovely weekend too, Alinda! ❤

  3. I don’t think I hear you talk about Wal-Mart much. They are definitely cheaper than Target and most other places. Do you not have many down your way?

  4. Do the Magnetic Blocks cause less of a mess than Mega Blocks? I’m thinking about getting this my kids, because I’m tired of stepping on the jumbo lego pieces that seem to appear out of nowhere 😅

    1. Yes, they are great! They are pretty much just flat pieces. They’re bigger than even the jumbo pieces, so they’re good for little hands and older kids too. My nephews have Magna Tiles at home – those are really great too. I got this version so that it would be something different for them to use at my house.
