What We’re Eating Wednesday {3.22.23}

Today I have a big round up of meal ideas for you. In this post I have 22 breakfast, lunch, and supper ideas to give your meal planning some inspiration.

We have tacos almost every week because it is the one meal that is eaten and enjoyed unanimously by my family of five. I switched it up last week and did sheet pan nachos instead of tacos, and (almost) everyone loved that version too!

Just between you and me, it takes less meat to make nachos. I was able to get by with about 3/4 pound of taco meat instead of our usual 1 1/2-2 pounds that disappears in a flash on taco night. Win!

Here’s a big list of the things that have been eaten and enjoyed by (almost) everyone in our family.

On The Menu

Breakfast:

Lunch:

  • School Lunches: Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, PB&J, Pizza Rolls
  • My Lunch at Home: BBQ Chicken Naan Bread Pizzas, Burrito Bowls, Chicken Gnocchi Soup, Leftovers
  • Weekend Lunches at Home: Chicken Nuggets, Mac and Cheese, Homemade Pizza, Hot Dogs, Tacos

I enjoy fixing a “fancy” lunch for myself at home during school days 🙂

Supper:

I write my meal plan on my Happy Planner and make a note if the meal is a success with at least 3 out of the 5 of us. I’m slowly building a good list of family favorites. ❤

  1. I’m glad that you all enjoyed the sheet pan nachos! They definitely require less meat than traditional nachos and you don’t even notice once you add the toppings you love. I like to add black beans to my section, but no one else in my family agrees. Your meal ideas all look yummy!! Those Bacon Cheeseburger wraps sound delicious. I love the idea of having a burger without having to grill 🙂
