I have a delicious round up of recipes for you today! This is pretty much everything I’ve fixed during August. For one reason or another, I only ended up cooking about three times each week. I tried to make those meals count and chose a yummy lineup of all our favorites.
This month did give me the chance to bake, even though it was SO hot. I did my baking in the morning to keep things as cool as possible. It feels good to have my freezer full of baked treats!

On The Menu
Breakfast:
- Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins
- Yogurt with Fruit and Granola
Lunch:
- Deli Turkey Sandwiches with Swiss Cheese and Spicy Brown Mustard
- Leftovers

Supper:
- Chicken and Dumplings
- Savannah Red Rice
- Roasted Shrimp (cooked this way)/Rice/Roasted Zucchini and Tomatoes
- Skillet Chicken Parmesan
- Turkey Meatballs with Creamy Gravy over Egg Noodles
- Seared Chicken with Smashed Potatoes and Herbed Mustard Sauce
- Delmonico Deviled Chicken
- Paula Deen Pork Chops and Gravy/Mashed Potatoes/Garlic Green Beans
- Hearty Chicken Noodle Casserole (pictured above – I omit the frozen veggies)/Tomatoes and Cucumbers
Extra Baking:
- Peanut Butter Blossoms – peanut butter cookie mix + kisses
- Cinnamon Bun Scones
- Banana Bread
- Cake Mix Cookies – I did devil’s food and chocolate chips
