Fall Decor Tour {2023}

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! September through January is my favorite time of year, so dusting my house with pumpkins and pops of orange just feels like a celebratory way to welcome in the season.

I spent $5 on new decor, all from the Dollar Tree. Over the years I’ve built a good stash of items that I enjoy “shopping” as I decorate. I never use all of it, just the pieces that work with my current theme.

I’ve been slowly adding to my collection of blue books this year. My best thrifting score was A Royal Duty – a very interesting read about both Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II.

The copper basket and the blue and white soup tureen below are also thrifting treasures. I paid around $2 each for them!

I always begin my decorating by referencing inspiration photos that I can copy with what I have in my stash. This Instagram post inspired the display on top of my piano.

I really try to limit the amount of decor with words because it can end up looking cluttered and tacky, but I just love this old “Hello Fall” sign from Target’s dollar spot circa 2016.

Here’s a picture of my front door from last fall. I added the outdoor decor last year after I shared my fall tour, so I’ll sneak it into this year’s post. I did the same thing on our front door this year, it’s just too hot to add mums yet.

  1. I really love your blue and white collection! I picked up a few sprigs of bittersweet from the Dollar Tree but can’t seem to find a blue and white vase that I like. I see you have yours in a pot… that’s a great idea, maybe I will get lucky and find one of those. Your house always looks so welcoming. Thanks for sharing it with us. Fall is my favorite time of year!
