This is, without a doubt, my favorite time of year for meal planning. I love cozy comfort food and it’s so easy to think of meals that pair well with colder weather! Because most of these main dishes already have a starchy/carby component like pasta or bread, I usually just fix salads or cut up fresh fruit to go with the meal.
Here’s pretty much everything I made in November. It was a delicious month!

On The Menu
Breakfast:
- Peanut Butter Toast
- Egg and Cheese on English Muffins
Lunch:
- Leftovers
- Open Faced Turkey Sandwiches with Cranberry Relish

Supper:
- One Pot Cheesy Turkey Taco Chili Mac
- Pizza Pockets (I used the refrigerated pizza dough from Aldi)
- Pancakes, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Roasted Potatoes, Fried Apples
- Roasted Chicken Breasts
- Baked Chicken Parmesan Meatballs with Pasta and Red Sauce
- Chicken and Dumplings
- Sticky Chicken over Jasmine Rice
- Swiss Chicken Sliders
- Roasted Potato Bacon Soup
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Cheesy Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas
- Roast Chicken, Stovetop Cornbread Stuffing, Southern Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce
- Chicken Noodle Casserole
- Turkey Meatloaf, Mac and Cheese, Garlic Green Beans
- Beef and Cheddar Hand Pies (I make these with crescent rolls if I don’t have puff pastry)

Dessert:
- Melt In Your Mouth Pumpkin Cookies
- No Bake Peanut Butter Pie (pictured above)
When I’m looking for meal ideas, I start with my Main Dishes Pinterest board (above). It helps me to think of recipes I can make with the proteins I have on hand. When it comes to cookbooks, there are three that I reach for on a regular basis.
These would make great Christmas or hostess gifts. Pair it with a pretty dish towel or a candle, and you’re set.
I hope you’re enjoying cozy food season as much as I am! ❤
