Thanksgiving 2021 was one of the best ever! My mom hosted the Ham Fam (my side of the family, the Cunninghams) and we packed so much good food and fun family time into those two days.

Everything tasted as good as it looked! My mom presents everything so beautifully and we enjoyed the benefits of her planning and preparation!

Those boys love Uncle Paul! I caught one of them at the tail end of their “cheeeeese!” 🙂

I love this shot of my sister with our Dad! ❤

My nephews turned 5 this month and are just constant sources of cute moments. ❤

Later on that afternoon, we took our dessert out to the fire pit! We had music, pie, marshmallows and cozy blankets. So fun!

On Friday we helped Mom get her tree up, which also ended up being a whole family event! Halfway through the assembly we realized the base wasn’t connected properly. Tall people with long arms to the rescue! 🙂

Leftover turkey sandwiches and Derby pie for dessert make the day after Thanksgiving just a little sweeter.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” Psalm 133:1
Love is the perfect way to bring family together in unity (Colossians 3:14), and I’m so thankful for a family who loves God and loves each other. We aren’t perfect (I know we aren’t because I’m in the family – and I know my heart!) but we had such sweet fellowship.
As for the rest of November…we started the month with our fun road trip weekend in the mountains – I recapped that trip here if you missed it.

Favorite Purchases from November:
These smart plugs have been the best investment (if $25 is considered an investment)! I love being able to set all the Christmas lights on multiple timers and being able to control them from my phone.
The Time and Tru sweatshirts from Walmart are definitely staples in my cold weather wardrobe. I currently have five different ones including the two I ordered this month: the crewneck leopard that I ordered in a small (it runs big) and the tie dye swing that I ordered in a medium (it runs small).
Favorites from this month’s Bible reading:
The Lord swore an oath to David, a promise he will not abandon: “I will set one of your offspring on your throne.” (Psalm 132:11)
“Why are you troubled?” he asked them. “And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself! Touch me and see.” (Luke 24:38-39)
Jesus is the fulfillment of all God’s promises and the answer to every need of our hearts!
