Welcome to my Christmas home tour! We’ll start outside and work our way into the house.

This year’s decor was definitely influenced by our favorite Christmas movie – White Christmas. See if you can spot all the references!

The front door is simple and something that will carry me through winter. Win!

I added bags of Chex Mix to my delivery thank you basket, which always holds bottled water.

Paint Colors: Sherwin Williams Ice Cube on the walls and Pure White on the trim. Read this post to see how I chose this color from the millions of options —> How To Choose Paint Colors For Your Home.

I used to line up all of our framed Christmas cards on the piano. Now there are too many to fit, so I’ve scattered them around in my decor throughout the house!

The tree in my office just makes me smile every time I come down the hall!

There’s nothing like having the house all cozy and festive! This is the 10th year that I’ve decorated this house for Christmas and the 10th year that I’ve chosen contentment with my Christmas decorating.

Our house looks a lot “nicer” than it did in 2012, now that we have a curated look instead of a house full of hand me down furniture and mismatched accessories. But I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every year, even the years with worn out furniture.

It still doesn’t look like a lot of the homes I see on Instagram – but I’m okay with that. I’m so grateful for the lovely home God has given us and for the time and energy I’m able to invest in making it cozy and festive. I hope you can do the same in your home! ❤

  2. I just love the theme and the way you gently displayed it throughout your house. It was fun looking for hints of the movie! It’s all so tastefully done… Just beautiful! Can’t wait to visit it in person! 🎶

  4. Everything is really pretty! So elegant and homey – all at the same time! I really like your tree on that side of the room (can’t remember when you switched from next to the piano) and I love that size tree. I really need to get one like that! Thanks for sharing your home tour!

    1. Thank you, Jennifer! Yes – I decided to try the tree over in that corner this year and I really like it there. It gives so much more space in the main part of the room. It’s a 6 foot pencil tree, and you can’t beat how easy it is to put up and to decorate! 🙂

  5. Beautiful! It looks so inviting and welcoming. Perfect balance between “pretty” and “practical” so guests feel comfortable. : ) I would have loved to see a sweet kitty face peeking out somewhere. : ) Thanks so much for sharing. I don’t comment but I always enjoy your posts. Merry Christmas! God is good!
