It’s Christmas week! We are staying home for Christmas, and I had so much fun planning all the yummy things we’ll eat on Thursday and Friday. I won a Honeybaked Ham giveaway over on Rhoda’s Instagram – so I planned two meals around the delicious spiral cut ham I’ll pick up with my gift card. Wohoo!Β It’s going to be a delicious week!
There’s no grocery haul video this week. I did a big trip to Ingles over the weekend but decided to skip the video (mostly because I was worn out/flustered after our neighbor’s cat snuck into the house while I was unloading groceries. That was an adventure.).
I’m most excited about the ham biscuits and cheese muffins – being the carb lover that I am! π What are you looking forward to eating this week? Tell me in the comments below!
Sunday: Roasted Chicken Thighs w/Herb Butter/Parsley Potatoes/Garlic Green Beans
Monday: Lasagna Soup/Spinach Salad
Tuesday: Chicken Quesadillas/Fruit/Chips & Salsa
Wednesday: Sloppy Joes/Tater Tots/Corn
Christmas Eve:
- Brunch: Honeybaked Ham/Hashbrown Potatoes/Cheese Grit Muffins/Fruit/Coffee & Hot Chocolate with Peppermint Chocolate Marshmallows
- Supper: with family – bringing Rosemary Roasted Mashed Potatoes
Christmas Day:
- Brunch: Blueberry Muffins/Bacon/Scrambled Eggs/Fruit
- Later: Ham Biscuits/Crockpot BBQ Meatballs/Veggies & Dip/Cheese & Crackers/Pumpkin Pie/Christmas Cookies
If you need some more Christmas menu inspiration, here’s one from a few years ago that includes lasagna and steak!
Honey Baked Ham is such a treat!! Love that you won one this year. Whoa a strange kitty in the house would definitely cause a commotion π Hope you have a great week!

I was thrilled to win that gift card! I picked up the ham yesterday and couldn’t resist snacking on a slice before I put it in the fridge. π

I’m making twice baked potatoes (using some really delicious leftover broccoli cheese soup) for Christmas Eve at home. A pumpkin pudding/gingersnap trifle for Christmas Day with my family. And a double chocolate mocha trifle for the day after Christmas with John’s family.

That all sounds amazing! I think I’ve had your double mocha trifle at church one time, am I right? Anyway it all sounds delish!
