I usually wrap up the year by sharing a list of top five’s, but this year I’m breaking tradition and going for ten! I made a list of the top ten most popular posts from this year and was pleased to see that they fit into three distinct categories. Here are this year’s top posts, neatly organized for you! 🙂
Organization & Time Management:
- Shopping At Aldi: Two Week Grocery Haul and Menu
- Another Two-Week Grocery Haul and Menu Plan
- My 2016 Household Cleaning Schedule
- Menu Plan With Me!
Marriage and Home Life:
- Three Things You Should Not Say To A Newlywed
- Why I Make Home Life My First Priority
- How To Make Home Life Your First Priority
I’m so glad that the things I was most passionate about and interested in resonated with you as well. Making home life my first priority was a huge theme of my year, and I love how that theme is reflected in the list above!
This was also a fun year for me with YouTube! Here are the top 10 videos from the year:
- My Evening Routine
- Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Your Man
- Clean With Me – Kitchen & Living Room
- Clean With Me – Bathroom
- Fall Decor Tour
- Shopping at Aldi – Two Week Haul & Menu Plan
- Hosting A Stress Free Thanksgiving Meal
- What’s In Our Operation Christmas Child Box?
- Finishing Touches For The Living Room
- My Morning Routine
Thank you so much for your part in my year! Which post or video was your favorite?

Decor is a big love of mine, so I enjoy anything related to that. But organization goes hand-in-hand with decor because you can’t enjoy the pretty if everything’s in chaos! 😉 So I’m all for ways to cut back on clutter. And who doesn’t like a tasty treat? I’ve enjoyed trying out several of your yummy recipes/suggestions, and my mom and sister have liked them, too. Great variety on your blog!
Thanks, girl! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the recipes!
Great round up! No surprise that your Derby Pie was a hit! I’ve got to give your version with walnuts a try because I normally use pecans. My favorite posts of yours this year were your marriage ones. I loved your marriage matters monday posts and am making it a goal to participate in those more this year. I also loved your grocery hauls and other videos. I don’t follow a ton of youtubers, but I always make sure to watch yours. Happy New Year!
Thanks for watching my videos! I’m honored that you take the time to come over and watch them, especially since you don’t watch a lot of YT!
What great posts Whitney! I hope this holiday week has been a great one for you!
Thank you, Beth!! ❤
I just love your blog and find endless inspiration here! Thank you!!!!
Thanks for reading, Jenny!! ❤
So many great posts to choose from! I always love the grocery hauls. We don’t have Aldi’s after our last move so I miss it. The Taco Bake is a recipe we really like. I need to learn to menu plan…fail! Your Marriage Matters and date nights are always good. I love your devotion to your marriage. As for videos…my favorite is the stress free Thanksgiving planning. I rewatched that one a few times! Loved the Christmas Box ideas and the groceries are always fun! Thanks for sharing!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the Thanksgiving planning videos! I really enjoyed sharing my planning process for that event. Thank you for being a part of the fun of blogging, Diana! ❤
I have thoroughly enjoyed your blog/vlogs and have learned so much from them! Keep up the awesome work! 🙂
Thank you, Lori! I so appreciate you taking time to read and comment on the blog! ❤
I love all of your posts. They are such motivational posts. Now I need to see one about how to clean up and organize after Christmas. I have cleaned and cleaned and it still feels like I have so much left to do.
I feel you, girl! I have several huge piles of gifts and purchases in my office that I need to put away…and all the decorations need to come down! So glad to be on this blogging adventure with you!
Hey Whitney, this is Jennifer from the Blogging Mastermind group on FB. I just love your blog and I just spent an embarrassing amount of time watching all your videos. Ha! You do such a good job and I love how effortless you make everything look. Kudos to you!
