Menu Monday {7.16.18}

We were out of town all weekend, and while it was nice to not have any household responsibilities I’m really glad to be back at home! Eating out is fun for a while, but I am ready to jump into this week’s menu plan in my own kitchen. Here’s what I have planned!

Breakfast:

  • Green Smoothies
  • Avocado On Toast
  • Scrambled Eggs & Chicken Breakfast Sausage

Lunch:

Supper:

Are you ready to get back in the kitchen after being out of town? Or would you jump at the chance to eat out all the time?

  1. Eating out is fun, but it does get old after a while. My mom, sister and I are road-tripping (about an 8-hour drive) to Cheyenne, WY, on Saturday for a week at Frontier Days (www.cfdrodeo.com). We stay with Mom’s cousin, and she makes amazing meals!! But we do a little eating out in between. It’s a good mix of food, but we’re always glad to be back home afterward. Glad you had a fun weekend away! It’s fun to break the routine a bit. 🙂

  2. All this talk of mac and cheese and tacos and bbq is making me rethink my menu for the week!! That all sounds delicious. Hope it’s a yummy week getting back into your regular routine.

  3. You absolutely save my life with your Menu Mondays! The Cheesy Taco Turkey Chili Mac sounds like it will be a winner in my house! And I need all the ideas I can get in this hot July weather! I made the Sloppy Cubanos you posted last week and they were a hit! I’m also going to try the Starbucks Passion Fruit Tea – I love that stuff! Also the link for the Chicken Sausage Skillet just takes me to the Chili Mac recipe? Have a great day!
